Jorge Neri is a member of the Democratic National Committee’s new Unity Reform Commission. Jorge has worked for the White House under the Obama Administration, on political campaigns, and organizing for immigrant rights. He began his career in Chicago and then moved to Washington, DC to work on the national level – including at the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM), the Center for Community Change (CCC), and Alliance for Citizenship (A4C). Jorge worked on President Obama’s successful reelection campaign, serving as the Southern Regional Field Director before being deployed to run the field program in Nevada, a battleground state. Jorge later went on to serve as the Associate Director for Latino and Immigrant Outreach for the White House. Most recently, he worked on Secretary Hillary Clinton’s campaign as the State Director for Nevada (a state won by Secretary Clinton in the primary and general election). Currently, Jorge is consulting for a variety of political campaigns and advocacy organizations.
