Tomorrow, as part of Giving Tuesday, people around the world will give back to non-profits working to make a difference. At Civic Advisors, we work every day to help people trying to make an impact, or, as our CEO says, “to help good people get shit done.”

Without financial help, the work our clients do -- from combating sexual assault on college campuses, to encouraging gender equity, to supporting low income students who want a higher education, to supporting children in need around the world -- wouldn’t be possible.

Join us in supporting these great organizations for Giving Tuesday this year.

UNICEF USA: UNICEF USA helps save and protect the world’s most vulnerable children, including those affected by recent tragedies in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean. From getting Emergency Relief Kits to children in need, to rushing shipments of fresh drinking water to families in these areas, UNICEF always steps up as a global leader in emergency response. Last year alone, UNICEF reached 344 humanitarian emergencies across 108 countries, and stands ready this year to provide aid to more. Rated one of the best charities to donate to, 88.4% of every dollar you provide goes directly to children.

United State of Women: Give the gift of women’s empowerment with a donation to the United State of Women movement. USOW is committed to raising a new generation of strong, female leaders in all industries through partnerships with women leaders, trainings through the Galvanize Program, and funding opportunities. USOW continues to raise a voice for gender equality, recognizing that there is still a long way to go.

The College Promise Campaign: The College Promise Campaign continues to fight for affordable community college across America. With dozens of communities engaging on Free Community College this year alone, supporting the CPC campaign will help spread the Promise across more of the country and help achieve the goal of free community college for all.

It’s On Us:  The It’s On US campaign works tirelessly to build a movement on college campuses to combat sexual assault. With the current Administration rolling back Title IX protections for survivors, supporting It’s On US is more important now than ever. Give back to help It’s On Us and its campus partners raise money for the 2018 Spring Week of Action which engages thousands of college students through campus events across the country. All In Challenge: The All In Campus Democracy Challenge recognizes higher education institutions for committing to increase civic engagement on their campuses. A donation to the campaign helps All In recruit more campuses and pass along the skills and resources that schools need to foster bipartisan voter participation.

Better Make Room and Reach Higher: Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Better Make Room and Reach Higher initiatives continue to work towards advancing student success by changing the conversation around higher education. These initiatives, through gifts like yours, provide support and resources to aid students in the application process, and encourages all students to reach higher for a college degree.

Civic Nation:  Want to do more? You can also contribute directly to Civic Nation to support the work of initiatives that organize, engage, and spread awareness about some of the most important issues in our country.

Don’t forget to engage online with #GivingTuesday by posting #MyGivingStory update, and follow us at @CivicAdvisors to hear more about the good work our clients are doing throughout the country.
